The Depreciation Lands Museum has a new event ! We have a cannon on loan August 18th from Wildwood Long Rifles! To celebrate, we’re hosting a special “Name the Cannon” event, and YOU have the chance to make history!
Event Date: August 18th Time: 1pm-4pm
How to Participate:
Visit the museum that day to submit your name suggestion. Voting starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm. The names will be sorted through and the lucky winner will be announced. ** The name MUST BE a name that was used in the 18th century. It MUST begin with an S.
Grand Prize: The lucky winner of the drawing will not only have the honor of naming our cannon but will also get to fire it off at 3:30 that day!
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to be a part of history! Our cannoneer will have several other cannons on site that day and will be firing them at regular intervals throughout the day.
