Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of an old fashioned Country Ice Cream Social. Traditionally, the Social was an opportunity to relax the social code and visit with friends and neighbors. Enjoy a dish of refreshing Ice cream, . Take a trip back to colonial times right in Pittsburgh's back yard. Join us for a day filled with Storytelling, a variety of music, and special demonstrations!
As always, there will be the savory scent of woodsmoke from the cooking in the Armstong's log house and the Bake Oven, watch the blacksmith work his magic with iron, and look in on the one-room school.
Demonstrations will abound for visitors of all ages. And of course, there is the ICE CREAM!
