May Day at the Museum!

Sunday, May 1, 1-4 pm

Celebrate spring with traditional May Day activities!

Rain or Shine, there will be plenty to do today! Join us for this very special Family oriented day, filled with hands on activities and a concert of historic music, presented by presented by the Pittsburgh Historical Music Society. These musicians are dedicated to performing historic music on period instruments.

In Talley Cavey Village, we will celebrate traditions brought by our settlers from the British Isles, such as dancing around the May Pole, and having children make May Baskets. Visit the Native Indian camp to hear about the Indian traditions for the spring season.
